from 30 reviewsI didn't expect to like this (and all the other dishes) because of my 'western' palate and taste I thought it wouldn't suit me. I was wrong! They are all delicious and simple to prepare, added bonus of no nasty preservatives. I love cooking curries fresh and from scratch but it's finding the time. This is where 5minutes to Dheli dishes come in. Will be ordering more soon :-)
I ordered the rice, dals and poha and it was so convenient to carry in my work bag and have it during lunch. The portion size was perfect and it took me no time to prepare it.
It’s sooo much better than the cold sandwiches I used to get, and tastes amazing too.
The food gets prepared like magic. I ordered Pav bhaji, chole and Rajma. All the the 3 products taste good but I found taste of Rajma to be great. Usually I was using Haldirams ready to eat meals but due to my brother who eats Jain food(no onion garlic) I explored products of 5minutestodelhi and it turned out great. I will highly recommend people looking for ready to eat meals with no onion garlic option
The Dals we’re very good as was the Rajma, defyworth a try.
Have tried a lot of versions of ready to eat and insta mix products for dishes like chole, but have never felt as satisfied after trying these punjabi chole.
The technology used is preserving the original taste of the dish is mind blowing. For all i know i might actually be eating Chole made in punjab here in UK at my home on my desk watching a good movie.
Fantastic taste and freshness.
100% recommend.
I have tried a number of places to find something close to mumbai pav bhaji but have only been disappointed. Then comes this hero product and let me tell you this, i was back at mumbai chowpatty feeling home because of this Pav bhaji.
The taste is so authentic that it just kept me craving for more.
The ease of making the dish, ready within 5 minutes has made it much more fun and convenient which will serve your cravings just right.
Absolute star!
I just bought their packets for the entire month. I'm happy with all the curry options. I love that it has no preservatives and taste is same as you eat at home. A couple of curries were spicier than what I eat but putting few drops of lemon juice evened it out!
It was delicious, spicy but not overwhelming. It went great with some biryani and would go well with jeera rice. Not to mention the great protein hit too!
Fluffy rice with a great variety of vegetables and flavours - it really is delicious.
I really love the subtle coconut flavours in this dish - it really adds another layer that makes it so tasty. I’m trying to stop eating meal deals at work so had this for lunch - boiling water, 5 minutes and done.
I’m always very sceptical about packaged foods but this was the real deal. They’re natural without preservatives and I was genuinely shocked at how good this came out. Just add boiling water, wait 5 minutes and you’ve got a healthy, flavourful lunch ready for you. Definitely will be ordering again.
This is my go-to dish when I eat at an Indian restaurant, and now I can eat it at home for so much cheaper whenever I like. Goes perfectly with the jeera rice, too.
All I did was add boiling water, and in 5 minutes I had a complete meal that tasted freshly cooked. Flavourful and fragrant, just like biryani should be!
Fluffy potatoes and a delicious blend of spices. Have started taking these to work because I got sick of wasting money eating out everyday. Adding boiling water just makes it so easy...
This is now probably one of my favourite Indian dishes! The gravy is thick and spicy and warmed me up in this cold UK winter.

Some dishes are nice ,some not like rice is not get fully cooked after putting boiling water and it left bad smell after it. Hope you can take it as feedback and improve this.

How it Works
Collapsible content
Cooked in India – how?
It’s simple! Once these meals are freshly cooked, the air and moisture are instantly removed (a process called ‘freeze-drying’), which keeps the taste and structure the same untilYOUrehydrate it with boiling water. Makes sense, right?
Do these meals contain any preservatives?
NO! Freeze-drying technology allows us to use 100% natural ingredients WITHOUT losing the taste, freshness and quality of your meals. This is the same technology that NASA use to keep food fresh when sending astronauts into space! Cool, right?
Is any cooking involved?
No, all you do is add boiling water, or microwave if you prefer (instructions found on the back of each packet). We would always recommend using a measuring jug to ensure the meal rehydrates correctly.
How long do meals stay fresh for?
When you receive your meals, you can store your meals in the cupboard and they will typically stay fresh for at least 4 weeks. Each packet has a best before date printed, so always refer to that as this may vary.
